| As a
student in a UT TeleCampus course, you have access to the library
resources at the UT TeleCampus Digital Library. To use the
resources at the UT TeleCampus Digital Library, use your
TeleCampus username and password to access the electronic
resources. Just click on "Digital Library"* from anywhere in the
course's left navigation bar. That will bring you to this page,
where you can click on the TeleCampus Digital Library link below.
We'll do a library activity early on in our course, so you'll have
a chance to practice doing library searches at a distance.
TeleCampus Digital Library
What is
it?
The UT
TeleCampus Digital Library is an online library created to support
the research and library needs of TeleCampus students and faculty
by providing and coordinating a variety of library resources and
services. Some of the resources and services available include:
Electronic resources
You have remote access to over 85
electronic databases and resources including almost 9,000 full
text electronic journals and hundreds of electronic books. You use
your TeleCampus username and password to access these databases
remotely (

Reference, research, & technical assistance
Get reference, research, and technical assistance when you use the
TeleCampus Digital Library. Help is provided Monday through Friday
from 8am to 5pm (CST) via toll free phone, email, and web forms.
Live chat with a UT System Librarian is available Monday through

of TexShare cards

TexShare card on the TeleCampus Digital Library web site. The
TexShare card provides you with borrowing privileges at local
academic and public libraries inTexas.

These web pages provide you with assistance in locating local
academic and public libraries in Texas where, using your TexShare
card, you are eligible to use services and resources.
TeleCampus D-Doc service
This service allows you to go online and request the materials
(both articles and books) you need, but can't find in one of our
subscription databases. This document delivery and interlibrary
loan service will allow you to request items online, track the
status of your request, and in some cases, retrieve your items
online.
How do I
get access to it?
Go to the
UTTC Digital Library Materials and Resource page. Most of the
Digital Library website is open to anyone. You will have to login
when you access the electronic resources (databases, ebooks,
encyclopedias, etc.) that are available through this site. When
you access one of the electronic resources you will be prompted to
log into the TeleCampus proxy server by entering your TeleCampus
username and password (this is the same username and password you
use to access your courses and the TeleCampus Information System (TIS)).
For more complete instructions on getting access to the resources
in the TeleCampus Digital Library refer to the
handbook and the
UTTC Digital Library FAQs.
