Modern applications of mathematics including graph theory, optimization,
data organization, and social decision models.
We will focus on several different types of real world problems
and examine mathematical models, analysis, and algorithms related
to these problems. For example, we will consider routing and
scheduling techniques, ways to allocate limited resources, voting
methods, and procedures to divide items among groups or individuals.
